Career Services serves as the bridge / points of connection between our highly skilled and knowledgeable students and our Locator-Partners.

Career Services offers four services: Career Coaching and Counseling, Career Competency Building, Placement Services and Alumni Engagement.

Program Description

FIRST College launched multiple sporting events to give avenues to potential student-athletes from our school and from our partner schools and communities.

FIRST CUP

Program Descriptions

In the absence of face-to-face interactions, FIRST CUP is a venue for FIRST College – Senior High School students to come and be united with their classmates while having fun playing e-sports and other online competitions while showcasing their talents. FIRST CUP is an inter-class competition among the students of FIRST College – Senior High School. CUP, an abbreviation for Come, Unite, and Play, is also its overall theme.

GAINING EMPLOYMENT AWARENESS
AND READINESS
(GEAR UP)

Program Descriptions

GEAR UP (Gaining Employment Awareness and Readiness Program) is the students’ preparation for the Work Immersion Program. Activities, participated by all Grade 11 students, are focused on skills and conduct that FIRST College students need to be prepared for early work experiences such as:

Upward Bound

Program Descriptions

Upward Bound provides fundamental support to Grade 12 students in preparation for their career path after Senior High School. It gives opportunities for them to succeed in their work immersion and ultimately in their future employment and/or college entry.

Counseling Services

Program Descriptions

Student coaching and counseling programs are developed with defined outcomes for students. They include achievable student outcomes in each of the four student program domains: personal, social, educational and occupational. They are developmental in nature such that activities appropriate to student maturity levels are systematically presented.
