Starting AY 2023-2024, FIRST College will start offering STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Strand. This program focuses on the student’s problem-solving abilities through hands-on and practical training. Students will also undergo a STEM-focused Work Immersion Program for three months.

The differentiating capabilities of FIRST College include its contextualization of the curricula by offering Electives integrated into its co-curricular program called Gaining Employment Awareness and Readiness Program (GEAR UP).

FIRST College aims to develop future leaders and engineers in the field of manufacturing. Our STEM program will focus on Industrial Technology and will prepare students for Industry 4.0. Thus, Smart Manufacturing, Digital Manufacturing, Bioindustrial Manufacturing, Regenerative Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Advanced CNC and Lathe Machining will be introduced through GEAR UP.

STEM will have a HyFlex Learning model
(online and face-to-face classes) mainly in our newly
constructed FIRST College CoLab Studio.

Tuition Fee Model

To make education inclusive, FIRST College offers two payment options to its students for STEM – a one-time payment or monthly installments (10 months) for tuition fees and miscellaneous fees.

STEM Enrollment Requirements

  • Photocopy of PSA birth certificate
  • Original copy of Form 137 (Grade 10 Junior High School report card or its equivalent)
  • An 85 or higher average grade in Mathematics and Science (DepED Order)
  • Photocopy of Certificate of Completion of Junior High School / Diploma
  • Enrollment application form
