Program Description

Learn how to use and maintain mechanical measuring instruments (e.g. Vernier calipers and micrometers). Get hands-on experience in understanding the different types, sizes, and applications of standard screws/screwdrivers, pulleys, bearings, and lubricants.

Program Objectives

By the end of the program, the participants will be able to:

• Read linear(thickness, length), radial, and diametrical measurements using Vernier caliper and micrometers
• Maintain good condition of shafts, bearings and pulleys
• Dismantle and assemble mechanical parts/machines (e.g. motors, compressors)
