The objective of FIRST College’s After-Work College program is to encourage the underserved students into higher education by
Providing affordable education where students can continue work while studying, addressing the need to have a stable source of income while earning a diploma which is essential for economic
Offering flexible schedule in the evening after their work and during weekends, and is accessible because of the school's strategic location inside an industrial park
Increasing student employability in the Industry through our study-work program by having (1) industry practitioners as faculty to ensure that learning is relevant and practical and (2) linking projects to actual industry problems
With the program's unique design, FIRST College will provide access to higher education to existing workers in the park who cannot go to college before without disrupting their income and providing them opportunity to fill in critical jobs in the industry by developing both their technical and management capability.
A study-work program that helps working students gain real-work industrial business knowledge, skills, and attitudes to effectively manage operations through the use of real-work technology, tools, and be exposed to practical hands-on problem solving opportunities in the industry environment under the guidance of industry professionals.
